Angela Snell, General Counsel

Since May 2026, Angie Snell has served as COPA’s General Counsel. Angie previously served as COPA’s Chief Investigative Law Officer and Assistant General Counsel. Prior to joining COPA in 2021, Angie was a partner in the corporate restructuring practice at Kirkland and Ellis LLP and also a boutique bankruptcy and corporate litigation law firm. Before that, Angie served as a judicial law clerk for a judge in the Northern District of Illinois for two years. Before law school, Angela worked for over 8 years as an advocate in nonprofits serving, among others, survivors of domestic violence as well as unhoused individuals living with HIV/AIDs. Angie holds a J.D. from the University of Illinois – Champaign/Urbana and a B.A in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
