The information PRAD uses to direct its activities, conduct analyses, and make policy recommendations comes from multiple sources. However, PRAD especially seeks to reflect community concerns by listening to and learning about community members’ experiences and perspectives so that we can support community knowledge and experience with the tools of data and policy analysis and our ability to make policy recommendations. PRAD engages with community stakeholders as:
partners in research projects
providers of input about how the PRAD division does its work
reviewers and co-producers of policy recommendations
participants in surveys, focus groups, & interviews designed to answer questions about police accountability
audiences for presentations about PRAD work
