Adam Pfeifer, Supervising Investigator

After two decades of experience in law enforcement and investigations, Adam began his career in police oversight in 2015 with the Independent Police Review Authority (IPRA) as an investigator assigned to Intake.   When the Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA) was established in 2017, Adam took on the role of Supervising Investigator in Intake where he co-manages the preliminary investigation of complaints.  Adam holds a BA in sociology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a MSW from the University of Illinois Chicago.  Outside of work, Adam enjoys attending his daughter’s track and cross country meets.
