Public Meetings of the Police Board
The Police Board holds a regular public meeting once a month. Members of the public are invited to attend and are welcome to address questions or comments to the Board. The Superintendent of Police (or his designee) and the Chief Administrator of the Civilian Office of Police Accountability (or her designee) will be at the meetings. Prior sign-up is required of those wishing to address the Board; contact the Board’s office by 4:30 p.m. of the day before the meeting to add your name to the list of speakers.
The meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and take place at the Chicago Public Safety Headquarters.

South Loop Public Safety and Security Meeting with Ald. King & Ald. Dowell
This month’s Chicago south loop residents will host a public safety meeting with 4th Ward Ald. Sophia D. King and 5TH Ward Ald. Pat Dowell. At the event various speakers including both alderwomen and other City officials will discuss what the City is doing to increase safety in the area. This event is open to the public.
Austin Quality of Life Plan
Austin Coming Together (ACT) along with the Austin Quality of Life Plan Steering Committee, Local Initiatives Support Corporation Chicago (LISC), and community members will kick off a public safety summit identify actions to take over the 5 years to create a more thriving Austin community.
