TREATMENT ALTERNATIVES FOR SAFE COMMUNITIES (TASC) CHATHAM INTEGRATED STAFFING MEETINGS

TASC Chatham holds integrated staffing meetings twice a month for participants to engage in dialogue on how to help returning citizens overcome barriers to re-entry, build capacity through networking with local and state community constituents and leaders, and communicate with other fellow TASC partnering agencies.

A community meeting for residents from beat 1731 to discuss crime and safety issues with police working on those beats and to develop solutions to those issues.  The event is open to the public.

Rogers Park Parent University at Sullivan High School

CPS Parent University connects parents and guardians of CPS students with facilities and resources to learn in the same schools attended by their children. The program provides parents and community with experiences intended to support a new outlook on education and the learning process that will transfer into positive outcomes for parents and students through community engagement.

Public Meetings of the Police Board

Chicago Public Safety Headquarters 3510 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL, United States

The Police Board holds a regular public meeting once a month. Members of the public are invited to attend and are welcome to address questions or comments to the Board. The Superintendent of Police (or his designee) and the Chief Administrator of the Civilian Office of Police Accountability (or her designee) will be at the meetings. Prior sign-up is required of those wishing to address the Board; contact the Board's office by 4:30 p.m. of the day before the meeting to add your name to the list of speakers.

The meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and take place at Chicago Public Safety Headquarters.
