COPA will be participating in the Chicago Pride Parade on Sunday, June 30th, 2019. We are excited to walk in the parade with other city officials to show our support for the LGBTQ+ community in Chicago.

COPA will meet with local businesses to provide resourceful ideas and information regarding ways to benefit and assist as a business owner to foster a safe community

Join the 6th District, faith-based leaders as we connect with our community to build and support partnerships and organizations to better serve families and communities in need.

COPA will speak to a group of young adults at the Lawndale Community Christian Center to educate them on the role that the agency plays in Chicago and the importance of police oversight and accountability.

The Police Board holds a regular public meeting once a month. Members of the public are invited to attend and are welcome to address questions or comments to the Board. The Superintendent of Police (or his designee) and the Chief Administrator of the Civilian Office of Police Accountability (or her designee) will be at the meetings. Prior sign-up is required of those wishing to address the Board; contact the Board's office by 4:30 p.m. of the day before the meeting to add your name to the list of speakers.

The meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and take place at the Chicago Public Safety Headquarters.

COPA will provided a presentation to job trainees apart of the Jane Addams Resource Corporation  Austin Office to discuss the role our agency plays in police reform.

Join the 5th Ward Community Monthly Meeting and learn what’s going on in the ward from Ald. Leslie Hairston.  This event is open to the public and will be held at Augustana Lutheran Church located at 5500 S. Woodlawn – Chicago, IL.

COPA investigators will be on site to receive complaints and compliments of Chicago Police Officers. Also, the staff will address questions and provide an overview of the agency.
