The Westside Ministers Coalition of Chicago and Vicinity Inc., is an organization whose mission is to provide services that will initiate self-help efforts to improve the Austin community of Chicago in areas of housing, public safety, clergy involvement, education, health, energy conservation, community, youth and economic development, to work in cooperation with other organizations sharing similar values in accomplishing our goals.

CPS: Community Action Council – Austin

Community Action Councils, or CACs, consist of 25-30 voting members who are directly involved in developing a strategic plan for educational success within their communities. CAC members include parents; elected officials; faith-based institutions, health care and community-based organizations; Local School Council (LSC) members; business leaders; educators and school administrators; staff members from Chicago’s Sister Agencies; community residents; and students.

Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities (TASC) Chatham Integrated Staffing Meetings

TASC Chatham holds integrated staffing meetings twice a month for participants  to engage in dialogue on how to help returning citizens overcome barriers to re-entry, build capacity through networking with local and state community constituents and leaders, and communicate with other fellow TASC partnering agencies.
