COPA visits the spring session of the Citizen's Police Academy to share with residents its role in police oversight. COPA staff also explains its mission, jurisdiction, investigative process and the role of community engagement.

The Leader’s Network is a gathering of church and community members working together to organize, strategize, and mobilize to improve the quality of life for West side residents and greater Chicago. We believe all people are valuable and for this reason we are committed to social justice and disaster relief both locally and globally, continuing the path of those who have gone before us. TREATMENT ALTERNATIVES FOR SAFE COMMUNITIES (TASC) CHATHAM INTEGRATED STAFFING MEETINGS

TASC Chatham holds integrated staffing meetings twice a month for participants to engage in dialogue on how to help returning citizens overcome barriers to re-entry, build capacity through networking with local and state community constituents and leaders, and communicate with other fellow TASC partnering agencies.

17th District Beat Meeting

Kilbourn Park Field House 3501 N. Kilbourn Ave., Chicago

A community meeting for residents from beat 1731 to discuss crime and safety issues with police working on those beats and to develop solutions to those issues.  The event is open to the public.
