Weekly Spotlight: Fall-4-All Events and more

COPA had a great time engaging the residents of Chicago in the community during the week of 10.20.25. This week our Public Affairs team was in Humboldt Park, Ravenswood, Washington Park and Belmont Cragin communities.

Our office is committed to helping residents understand how to file a complaint or compliment an officer and explain to the public our role in police oversight. Below is a brief description of our most recent community engagement efforts. Nobel Neighbors Monthly Community Meeting – Tuesday, October 21, 2025

COPA had a great time attending the Nobel Neighbors Community Meeting in the Humboldt Park community. Nobel Neighbors holds its meeting at various community organizations in the Humboldt Park area. This meeting’s focus was to address the various issues impacting residents and to find proactive solutions. Several community organizations and local official representatives attend this meeting to give information on resources and community updates. COPA attends these meetings to give out information on our role in police accountability.

Ravenswood’s Diwali Celebration (Fall-4-All) – Wednesday October, 22, 2025

COPA joined Chicago Mayor’s Office at the Ravenswood Diwali Celebration, one of the Fall Fest celebrations happening throughout the city. The event included activities, performances, and food. COPA was giving out info on our role in police oversight.

Network 9 State of the School Address & Resource Fair – Thursday October 23, 2025

COPA attended the Network 9 State of the School Adress & Resource Fair at Dyett High School in Washington Park. The event had an overview of network progress, important updates, and included a resource fair. COPA was giving out info on our role in police accountability.

30th & 36th Wards Spooktacular Trunk or Treat (Fall-4-All) at Riis Park – Friday October 24, 2025

COPA participated in the 30th & 36th Ward Spooktacular Trunk-or-Treat at Riis Park. The event created a safe space for over a thousand families to gather and receive some treats. Dozens of cars, including COPA’s, were decorated for the festivities. COPA was giving out info on our role in police oversight along with candy!

025th District Community Policing & Chicago Fall Fest on Grand Avenue in Belmont Cragin – Saturday October 25, 2025

Thousands of Belmont Cragin residents came out for a joint Fall Fest / Trunk or Treat event along Grand Avenue between Chicago Police Department 025 District and Prosser Career Academy! Plenty of candy, food, music, resource providers and creative costumes! Families had a special fly over by the CPD Helicopter along with the opportunity to see the helicopter up close. COPA was giving out info on our role in police oversight along with candy!

 

Fall Fest 7 in Englewood with Englewood Branded (Fall-4-All) – Sunday October 26, 2025

COPA participated in Fall Fest 7 in Englewood with Englewood Branded. Families were able to enjoy free carnival games & rides, plenty of free food trucks and resource providers along with special dance performances. COPA provided information on our role in police accountability.
