Bridging the Gap Between Law Enforcement & The Community
Salvation Army Freedom Center 825 N. Christiana Avenue, Chicago, IL, United StatesThe Chicago Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. presents a panel discussion on ways law enforcement and the community can work together to have a better relationship and safer communities. Elected officials, community leaders and organizations are invited. CPD Commander Kevin Johnson of the 11TH Chicago Police District will be on hand as guest panelists. This event is in partnership with the Salvation Army Freedom Center, and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executive. Various topics will be discussed including local policing tactics and new technology; prevention and community based intervention programs; and community policing partnerships. This event is open to the public.
