COPA and the City Clerk Mobile City Hall Community Event
COPA plans to join Anna Valencia City Clerk Office along with various other city departments and sister agencies to connect with the community. At this mobile outreach event COPA will have a resource table and share with the public the agency role in police oversight and explain COPA’s complaint process from intake to case closure. This event will take place at Wicker Park (1425 N. Damen Avenue).

Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council Resource Fair & Community Zumba Class
COPA plans to join the Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council, Gads Hill Center, Playstreets and the Chicago Department of Public Health to participate in a community resource fair. This free event will offer the residents of this area community resources, fun activities, an outdoor zumba class, games, food and much more.
24th Ward Public Safety Meeting
COPA plans to join Alderwoman Monique Scott, OEMC, and CPD to discuss public safety. This event will take place at Frankin Park Field House (4320 W. 15th Street) at 6:30pm.

16th Ward September Community Meeting
COPA plans to join Alderwoman Stephanie Coleman along with various other city departments and sister agencies to connect with the community and present about the work of COPA. This event will take place at Ombudsman Chicago South (6057 S. Western Street) at 10am.
Mexican Independence Day Parade
COPA will be participating in the 26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 12-5pm. We are excited to walk in the parade with other city officials to show our support for this community event in Chicago.
