COPA plans to set up a resource table at this event to share with residents in this community our agency mission and help them understand the importance of police oversight. This events starts at 10AM and will be held at 4259 S. Berkeley.

Acero Victoria Soto High School will be hosting their first Health & Mental Wellness Symposium during Parent Engagement Night on February 29th from 5:30-7:30PM. Families will be meeting with their student's advisor to discuss grades, attendance, and behavior. During COPA's attendance our agency will help students and parents learn more about our agency.

COPA will meet with various not-for-profit organizations to discuss community resources that can be offered to Latino communities in Chicago. This meeting begins at 9:30am.

COPA plans to attend the Community Commission for Public Safety & Accountability (CCPSA) monthly community meeting. This month meeting will start at 6:30PM and be held at 1900 West Jackson.

COPA attended the City of Chicago Job Fair, which was held at Kennedy King College and hosted by the Chicago Black Caucus. At this outreach event, COPA set up a resource table and shared its agency role in police misconduct to over 1,000 people.

On March 2, 2024, COPA attended the Circuit Court Clerk in the Community event held at the Mientras Haya Amor Hay Esperanza at Little Village Boxing and Community Center. COPA was able to set up a resource table and inform the public about our agency’s role in police accountability.

Woodson Regional Library is hosting a resource fair so that residents can learn more about organizations that serve the Washington Heights Community in Chicago. COPA will attend this resource fair will taking place on the first floor of the library at 9525 S. Halsted Street from 12-2PM.

COPA plans to attend the Westside Ministers’ Coalition monthly community meeting. This organization mission is to provide services that will initiate self-help efforts to improve the Austin community of Chicago in areas of housing, public safety, reentry, clergy involvement, education, health, energy, conservation, community, youth, and economic development, to work in cooperation with other organizations …

On Saturday, March 9th COPA attended the Chicago Park District Advisory Council Conference. We were able to share with the Park Advisory Council members and its conference attendees the work that our agency does. This conference was held at Malcolm X College. 

COPA plans to attend this meeting comprised of faith and community leaders that work together to organize, strategize and mobilize to improve the quality of life for the west side communities. This event begins at 9:30AM and will take place at Columbus Park Refectory (5701 W. Jackson Blvd).
