Join us in solidarity as we walk through the community sharing a message of hope and peace in an area that has been plagued by senseless violence. We will make five stops along the way and end with a special mass on 48th and Bishop in memory of all the Victims of Violence. Our five stops will be: outside of Catholic Charities 48th & Paulina, for our Children with officials from Catholic Charities, outside of Cesar Chavez Multicultural Art Center, 48th & Marshfield, for our families with officials from The Port Ministries, 48th & Ashland, for our First Responders with area police officers, outside of Hamline School Playground, 48th & Justine, for the Civilian Office Police Accountability with COPA officials and at the corner of 48th & Laflin, for our Government Officials. The Humanity Walk for Peace will conclude with our annual outdoor mass at 48th & Bishop for all the victims of gun violence in the Back of the Yards community.
