CCPSA Special Public Meeting to Vote on CPD Superintendent Finalists

COPA plans to attend the Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability (CCPSA) upcoming special public meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to vote on the finalists for Superintendent of the Chicago Police Department (CPD). The Commission invites all members of the public to attend the meeting and participate in this historic decision-making process. It is an opportunity for the community to witness the dedication and transparency with which the Commission approached the selection of the next Superintendent.

Anyone interested in speaking during the virtual public comment period must send a request to CCPSA staff by emailing Nicole.Garcia@cityofchicago.org. If the number of interested speakers would exceed the time dedicated to public comment, speakers will be selected by a random drawing.
