8th Annual Vigil Against Violence: Fifty Years in the Making: Why Police Accountability Is Necessary for Public Safety?

October 15, 2023

CCPSA will be joining Lincoln Park Presbyterian Church to participate in the church’s annual vigil display of Chicago youth lost to gun violence. The purpose of this event is to remember youth killed by gun violence, build awareness of the connections between public safety and police accountability, learn what the Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability has done in its first year, and commit to working with the CCPSA and District Councils to ensure greater accountability structures in Chicago.

This community event will take place on Sunday, October 15th from 4-6PM at 600 W. Fullerton Parkway. This event is free and open to the public but an online registration is required due to space constraints.
