COPA had a great time engaging the residents of Chicago in the community during the week of 10.06.25. This week our Public Affairs team was in Lower West Side and South Lawndale communities.
Our office is committed to helping residents understand how to file a complaint or compliment an officer and explain to the public our role in police oversight. Parent University Day – October 10, 2025
COPA had a great time attending Parent University Day in the Lower West Side community. This event brings beneficial workshops, local organizations with resources, and produce giveaways to the community. COPA was able to set up a resource table and give out information on our role in police accountability.

Aetna Health of Illinois Pamper Me Pink Health & Resource Fair – October 11, 2025
COPA had an amazing time at the Aetna Health of Illinois Pamper Me Pink Health & Resource Fair in the South Lawndale community. This event included free health screenings, information from community resources, and free haircuts. COPA was able to set up a resource table and give out information on how to file complaints & compliments for CPD.
