COPA plans to join the Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council along with other organizations to participate in a free community event open to the public that will offer various resources, music, games, food and fun activities.

COPA will participate in this My Chi. My Future. (MCMF) Summer Kickback community event series. This free teen friendly initiative is a part of the City of Chicago’s MCMF effort to connect Chicago’s youth with safe and engaging spaces.

COPA plans to join AETNA Better Health of Illinois for its free Health & Resource Fair and share with the community COPA's role in police oversight.

The Office of Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot and the Office of Budget and Management are organizing a series of Budget Engagement Forums and Resource Fairs across the City for residents to share ideas for Chicago’s next budget and learn more about the City’s various agencies.

COPA plans to attend the National Night Out event, which is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

COPA plans to attend ACERO Schools Community Leaders North Side Summit, which will be held at Clemente Elementary located at 2050 N. Natchez Avenue to share with the community the agency role in police accountability on Thursday, August 3rd at 4PM.  Residents from the north side including the communities of Avondale, Belmont-Cragin, Humboldt Park and Rogers Park are invited to this community resource event.

COPA will meet with over 70 community members for the Marshall Square Resource Network (MSRN) Quarterly Meeting hosted by Latinos Progresando.

COPA plans to attend ACERO Schools Community Leaders North Side Summit, which will be held at SOTO High School located at 5025 S. St. Louis Avenue to share with the community the agency role in police accountability. Residents from the south side including Pilsen, Little Village, Archer Heights, Brighton Park, Back of the Yards, and Gage Park are invited to this community event.

COPA plans to participate in the 23rd Annual 37th Ward Back to School Gospel Fest. 37th Ward Alderman Emma Mitts in conjunction with Global Outreach Ministries and Black Men United is hosting this event and it will be held at Lafollete Park (1333 N. Laramie Avenue). This festival is the largest free to the public event held in the 37th Ward that promotes the theme of "Unity in the Community."  Come learn more about COPA and also enjoy this festival filled with food, live entertainment and community resources. 

State Senator Omar Aquino (Illinois District 2) and State Representative Delia Ramirez (4th District) is hosting a Back To School Family Fair for students and families to celebrate and prepare for the start of the 2022-2023 school year. COPA will participate in this event to inform the community about the role that the agency plays in police accountability.

COPA will attend this meeting comprised of faith and community leaders that work together to organize, strategize, and mobilize to improve the quality of life for the west side communities.

COPA will be present at the LUCHA & PLAYSTREETS Block Party to share with members of the community the role the agency plays in police oversight. This free event open to the public will offer community resources, music, games, food and more.
