This post includes all relevant audio and Chicago Police Department records in COPA’s possession that are required to be released related to use of force in this fatal officer-involved shooting and the events immediately following it. There is no video of this incident.
This post was updated November 8, 2022, to include the Final Summary Reports. IPRA closed the investigation on February 13, 2014, but reopened it for further investigation on July 7, 2016. COPA closed the case on June 28, 2019. Both Final Summary Reports are included below.
