COPA had a great time engaging the residents of Chicago in the community during the week of 10.13.25. This week our Public Affairs team was in the Austin, Belmont Cragin, and West Town communities.
Our office is committed to helping residents understand how to file a complaint or compliment an officer and explain to the public our role in police oversight. Leaders Network Monthly Community Meeting – October 14, 2025
COPA attended the Leaders Network Community Monthly Meeting held in the Austin community that was comprised of faith and community leaders that work together to organize, strategize, and mobilize to improve the quality of life for the west side communities. This meeting included remarks from Congressman Jonathan Jackson. COPA attends these meetings to give out information on how to file complaints or compliments towards CPD.

Steinmetz Parent University Open House – October 15, 2025
COPA had a great time attending the Steinmetz Parent University Open House in the Belmont Cragin community. The event showcased the many classes & workshops offered along with various community organizations with their resources. COPA was able to set up a table and give out information on our role in police oversight.

Parent University Open House at Clemente High School – October 16, 2025
COPA had a great time attending the Parent University Open House at Clemente High School in the West Town community. The open house allowed parents & community to explore programming while accessing local resources. COPA was able to set up a table and give out information on our role in police accountability.
