COPA had a great time engaging the residents of Chicago in the community during the week of 05.05.25. This week our Public Affairs team was in the New City and Chicago Lawn communities.
Our office is committed to helping residents understand how to file a complaint or compliment an officer and explain to the public our role in police oversight. Mother’s Day Resource Fair May 09, 2024
COPA had a great time attending the Mother’s Day Resource Fair at Richards Career Academy in the New City community. This event included workshops, local community organizations, a meal, and raffles connecting parents and community to resources. COPA was able to set up a resource table and give out information on how to file compliments and complaints towards CPD.

Senior Resource Fair – May 09, 2025
COPA had an amazing time attending the Chicago Department of Family & Support Services Southwest Regional Senior Center Resource Fair in the Chicago Lawn community. This fair brough in several community organizations, city departments, and health vendors to connect seniors to services. COPA was able to set up a resource table and give out information on our agency and its role in police accountability.
