COPA Chief Administrator and senior staff will visit Chicago Police Department (CPD) during their police academy. At the presentation, recruits, officers and detectives will be able to hear from COPA discuss their commitment to enhancing the profession of policing and how COPA’s role as a police oversight body advances policing and serves as a catalyst to building community trust. As an agency, COPA engages law enforcement officers in order to build trust, establish relationships, and engage in a conversation regarding police accountability and civilian oversight.
