COPA will speak to a group of high schools students part of the One Summer Chicago program to share the agency role in police oversight. 

COPA will attend the Nobel Neighbors Community Meeting in Humboldt Park and explain the agency role in police oversight.

COPA plans to join the Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council along with other community organizations to participate in a block party being held on 46th & Honore. This free event open to the public will offer community resources, music, games, food and more.

The Office of Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot and the Office of Budget and Management are organizing a series of Budget Engagement Forums and Resource Fairs across the City for residents to share ideas for Chicago’s next budget and learn more about the City’s various agencies.

COPA plans to attend the Under the Sun Resource Fair hosted by Centro Comunitario Juan Diego and share with the community the agency role in police accountability. 

Carlos Rivas, Jr., Director of Public Affairs at COPA will speak on his international experience leading to a career in public affairs at World Chicago Diplomacy Begins Here: Regional Summit Student Track: International Careers. This event begins at 11:30AM at Palmer House.

COPA will participate on Friday in this My Chi. My Future. (MCMF) Summer Kickback community event series. This free teen friendly initiative is a part of the City of Chicago’s MCMF effort to connect Chicago’s youth with safe and engaging spaces.
