DESCRIPTION:Join us in solidarity as we walk through the community sharing a message of hope and peace in an area that has been plagued by senseless violence. We will make five stops along the way and end with a special mass on 48th and Bishop in memory of all the Victims of Violence. Our five stops will be: outside of Catholic Charities 48th & Paulina\, for our Children with officials from Catholic Charities\, outside of Cesar Chavez Multicultural Art Center\, 48th & Marshfield\, for our families with officials from The Port Ministries\, 48th & Ashland\, for our First Responders with area police officers\, outside of Hamline School Playground\, 48th & Justine\, for the Civilian Office Police Accountability with COPA officials and at the corner of 48th & Laflin\, for our Government Officials. The Humanity Walk for Peace will conclude with our annual outdoor mass at 48th & Bishop for all the victims of gun violence in the Back of the Yards community. \n  \nThis event is open to the public.
